What are PPO and HMO and POS Group Insurance Plans?
- PPO, or Preferred Provider Organization, plans usually carry a higher monthly premium while allowing your employees to choose any physician they wish, either inside or outside the BCBSMT network.
- HMO, or Health Maintenance Organization, plans facilitate coverage through a primary care provider (PCP) from your employee’s choice of physicians within our network.
- POS, or Point-of-Service, plans are a hybrid of our HMO and PPO plans designed to give your business even more options.
