Prime Therapeutics and You

Your prescription drugs and how you access them are a big part of your health insurance. BCBSMT uses Prime Therapeutics as its pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). Prime handles prescription claims, oversees pre-approvals, builds drugstore networks, and develops drug lists.

Not all BCBSMT members have Prime as their PBM. To find out, check your ID Card or log into BAM. In BAM, find the Pharmacy tab.
